Job Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve motor function, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks for patients
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in conjunction with other therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families about therapy methods to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to recovery

Education

• AB degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is essential
