Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health issues, recognizing their strengths and challenges to inform tailored intervention strategies.

• Provide various therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline client goals, interventions, and ongoing progress, ensuring alignment with the patients' unique circumstances and preferences.

• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care, advocating for patients' needs and connecting them to external resources.

• Offer crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and safety planning to support patients during acute situations.

• Engage actively in community outreach initiatives that promote mental health awareness and access to services, allocating time to participate in local events and partnerships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals and families who are navigating the complex emotional landscape related to terminal illness and end-of-life issues. You will work with patients from a variety of backgrounds, addressing their unique psychosocial needs, offering compassionate support and advocacy during some of their most challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• A strong understanding of the principles of palliative care, as well as trauma-informed care practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
