Front Desk Attendant

Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portland’s west side seeks a Front Desk Attendant to join the Front Desk team! The successful candidate will provide our members with a warm welcoming and a heartfelt See you next time. They are also available to answer any questions the members may have, while providing exceptional customer service to all.Schedule:Pay:Shift:Main Responsibilities:Provide outstanding customer service to club members at all times. Greets all members and guests with eye contact, a smile and strives to learn each member by name.Follows all check-in procedures and ensures all members, guests and vendors are signed in.Answers all incoming inquiries via phone, in person or email and obtains the appropriate information from the inquiry to direct/transfer calls or take messages.Remains familiar with all of the fitness classes, instructors, trainers, etc. and answers any questions about them with members or guests.Responsible for handling the membership database by registering guests with accurate registration procedures, processing payments and maintaining the client base.Promotes, registers and collects fees for various services or fee-based classes (i.e. guest fees, drop-in classes, etc.)Responsible for ensuring the club opens and closes properly, including cleaning various areas, organizing equipment and other duties outlined in the opening/closing procedures.Other duties as assigned.Language RequirementAll team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures.
