Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the extent and severity of mood disorder symptoms, including depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster understanding and cooperation.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to facilitate their journey toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily target individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you may support vulnerable populations, including individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your role is vital in empowering these clients to regain control over their lives, providing them with the necessary tools and support to achieve mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
