About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Previous telemetry experience Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips Description: Candidates with only 1 year of experience may now be considered, but they will not receive automatic offers. Their profiles will need to be reviewed by the manager. Shift is nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This is a 12-hour shift. Schedule includes every other weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday nights. Acute care experience must be current and consistent within the last 12 months. Experience in specialty areas is essential. Corrections experience is not required. There is a strict compliance deadline for new hires. Candidates must complete necessary credentialing processes promptly. References are required from professional sources. At least one reference must be from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity. No coworker references will be accepted. Candidates must have a valid compact or state license. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
