The Accounts Payable Specialist will oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving. This role involves identifying and documenting root causes of payment delays and errors, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities related to corporate credit cards, travel and expense management, general ledger accounting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and on time, handling at least 200 invoices per week.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving departments.

• Identify and document root causes of payment delays and errors, implementing corrective actions.

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors.

• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.

• Enforce corporate credit card policy, including setup, fraud monitoring, and monthly statement review and posting.

• Enforce travel and expense policy, facilitating approvals and payment processing.

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for accounts payable and relevant accounts.

• Assist with external financial statement audits.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation of annual 1099 filings.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in the end-to-end accounts payable process.

• Proven experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.

• Hands-on expertise with Tipalti and/or Ramp.

• Ability to process no less than 200 invoices per week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

• Strong skills in reconciliation and vendor maintenance.

• Familiarity with procure to pay processes.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in a fast-paced environment, aligning with a start-up mode. The role will initially start in Everett, WA, for 1-2 weeks, then transition to a new office in Seattle, WA. The office is conveniently located near public transit. The target is to manage 250 invoices a week, routing them to the appropriate departments. The workplace culture includes monthly sponsored events and a subsidized snack program. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
