What You'll Do
- Collaborate with neurosurgery residents to plan patient care rounds
- Review, order, and see patients needing attention in a neurosurgical inpatient setting
- Manage patient discharge processes and coordinate care plans
- Perform procedures such as drain removal (hemovac/Jp drains) when qualified
- Focus solely on patient care—no operating room duties
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained in inpatient neurosurgical care
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients' families
What You Need
Required:- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Massachusetts license
- Minimum 1-year neuro-related clinical experience
- Ability to perform drain removal (preferred)
- Strong patient care and teamwork skills
- Prior inpatient neurosurgery experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
