Quick Facts Location: 607 Beaman Street, Clinton, NC 28328 Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date/Duration: 10/16/2026 (approx. 7 weeks) Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Hours/week: 40+ hours (based on call and case load) Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active North Carolina medical license, NC DEA, Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery Experience: General orthopedic surgery, trauma management, fracture stabilization Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide general orthopedic surgical care including trauma stabilization and fracture management Conduct consults, assessments, and follow-up visits within the hospital setting Perform surgeries such as wrist, ankle, and hip fracture repairs, including I&D procedures Manage long bone trauma cases and coordinate patient transfers when necessary Be available for 24-hour call shifts, maintaining close proximity to the hospital Collaborate with the hospital team and adhere to facility protocols What You Need Valid North Carolina medical license and DEA registration (NC address) Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery Active malpractice coverage and vaccination compliance Experience in trauma and fracture management Ability to respond promptly to emergent cases during call shifts About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Clinton, NC, dedicated to providing exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital will be on Meditech Expansion, equipped with the latest technology. Providers will stay in hospital-owned apartments with amenities, cable, Wi-Fi, and close proximity to the hospital within 20 minutes. Provider travel expenses are capped at $500, covering airfare, rental car, or mileage (not both).
