This role allows you to work remotely within a community health clinic setting, enabling you to reach clients from various backgrounds while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can plan your day effectively and enjoy your personal time. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while being a key part of our collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the treatment of mood disorders.

• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive treatment experience for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to refine clinical skills and contribute to a culture of learning.

• Act as an advocate for clients, striving to promote awareness and understanding of mood disorders and their impact.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.

• Annual salary ranging between USD 52,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
