Adult Therapists for Hampshire Domestic Abuse Therapeutic Service Full time, Permanent. Hours: 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week. Working hours negotiable, but required to work on a Thursday for supervision; some early evening hours may be required. (Contract: Permanent (subject to successful probationary period) or self‑employed option available.) This role is part of a new therapeutic service for children, young people and adults living in Hampshire who have experienced domestic abuse. The partnership between Yellow Door and Stop Domestic Abuse provides a dedicated therapeutic pathway delivered locally, with individual or group sessions as required. Responsibilities You will provide therapeutic intervention to service users across Hampshire. Sessions will be delivered in the community, meeting the needs of victims/survivors. You will work between Yellow Door Southampton and community settings, traveling across Hampshire; you must be an essential car user. You will participate in supervision on Thursdays and collaborate with the team. Qualifications and Requirements Experienced and qualified therapist, having worked in voluntary or statutory roles; skilled in working with adults and/or children who have experienced abuse and trauma. Knowledge of evidence‑based work for domestic and/or sexual abuse. Subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
