Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge the severity of co-occurring disorders and identify tailored treatment approaches for each client.

• Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans, ensuring that each plan is aligned with the client's unique goals and circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address issues related to addiction, trauma, and other mental health concerns, using techniques grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy and other effective modalities.

• Consistently monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in their condition or requirements.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists—to deliver holistic care and integrated services.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health, addiction recovery skills, and the resources available to support their journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and other legal/ethical standards.

The primary clientele at Southern Wellness Counseling Center includes individuals grappling with various forms of addiction, as well as those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) designation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
