Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our Critical Care Float Pool where you will work night shifts with the flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. This position involves floating to a variety of Intensive Care Units (ICUs) based on staffing and patient acuity, including:

• Neuro ICU
• Surgical ICUs
• Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
• Cardiology/Diagnostics
• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) / Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) / Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU)

Float Policy: Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred

Parking Information:

Parking permits are available, which require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. Options include:

• WMC: 24/7 access to designated garages.
• WB: Access to specific garages on weekends and holidays; shuttle service available.
• CXS: Access to multiple lots with shuttle service 24/7.

Note: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancellation must occur by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge, with refund checks potentially taking 35 weeks to process.
