About Our Client Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a respected healthcare organization in the Chicago area, for a Resource Assistant supporting their Support Services department. This team plays a critical role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations across multiple hospital divisions by supporting payroll, attendance tracking, employee records, and HR-related processes. Job Description The Resource Assistant will provide administrative and operational support for the Support Services department, with a strong focus on payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance management, and employee record maintenance. This role will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams regarding time and attendance, HR processes, and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with Kronos (UKG) and Excel reporting. Key Responsibilities Review, audit, and process employee timecards using Kronos (UKG) across multiple support service departments Track missing punches, attendance issues, and time entry corrections for payroll accuracy Maintain employee attendance records and monitor compliance with attendance policies Support bereavement, family sick time, and leave tracking processes according to policy guidelines Assist with overtime and vacation scheduling systems by updating employee access and maintaining records Serve as a primary contact for timekeeping questions and payroll‑related administrative support Generate reports and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for labor tracking and department reporting Assist with onboarding support and system training related to timekeeping processes Participate in HR‑related meetings and support documentation for employee relations matters when needed Provide general administrative and operational support to department leadership Qualifications Previous experience in administrative support, HR coordination, payroll, or data entry required Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including reporting and spreadsheet management Kronos (UKG) experience is highly preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment Ability to work effectively with employees and leadership at all levels This is a fully onsite position located in Chicago, IL Business casual dress code Opportunity to join a well‑established and highly respected healthcare organization Long‑term opportunity with potential for permanent placement Exposure to high‑level operations, payroll, and HR functions Collaborative team environment with strong leadership support Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
