US Sales Manager - Advanced Optical & Electromechanical Technologies

Job Description

We are working with a rapidly growing European manufacturer of advanced optical and electromechanical components seeking a technically accomplished Sales Manager to drive growth across North America.

This opportunity is particularly suited to someone with a strong engineering background who has transitioned into technical sales.

\n

\n

The company develops innovative components integrated into customers' larger instruments and products, serving markets including machine vision, semiconductor, medical devices, microscopy and defense.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Develop new business across North America.
\n
• Engage with OEM engineering and R&D teams to identify technical solutions.
\n
• Identify new applications and opportunities for component integration.
\n
• Manage and grow existing strategic accounts.
\n

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Strong background in optics, photonics, mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering.
\n
• BS in an Engineering discipline is essential.
\n
• 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience.
\n
• Experience selling components or subsystems integrated into customers' finished products.
\n

Compensation:

\n

\n
• $120-140k base + 24-28k commission (uncapped)
\n
