Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand client needs and establish therapeutic rapport.

• Gather detailed patient history and background information to inform treatment strategies.

• Provide quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique dynamics of each client.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address identified issues while setting achievable goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will engage with a diverse range of clients, focusing on individuals, couples, and families experiencing relational challenges, mental health concerns, and life transitions. This includes addressing communication patterns and conflict resolution skills within various family structures, as well as providing psychoeducation to enhance understanding and coping strategies. Our clients often seek therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship enhancement, providing a rewarding opportunity to create meaningful, positive change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral science field.

• A valid Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license in California.

• Certification in therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, or communication therapy.

• Minimum of one year of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in family dynamics and relationship counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and familiarity with utilizing EHR systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. In addition, a successful candidate may have experience in providing psychoeducation to patients and their families, developing workshops, and creating resources for community engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
