Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, as appropriate
• Providing education to patients and families about lifestyle, wellness, and disease prevention
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and comprehensive care
• Meticulously documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
