Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor clients' progress and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that focus on developing coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges.

• Conduct group therapy sessions that promote shared experiences and instill a sense of community among clients.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in our electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and refer clients to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when necessary.

• Actively participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting providing therapy to individuals and groups.

Compensation and Benefits\n
