This full-time position allows for a flexible work environment, offering a mix of remote telehealth services and face-to-face counseling sessions in an outpatient setting. Work Environment\n

The work setting is primarily outpatient, providing clinicians with the opportunity to engage with clients in a structured yet flexible manner. Our practice operates remotely during standard business hours while also offering in-person sessions, ensuring that counselors can effectively meet the diverse needs of their clients. We value work-life balance, with scheduling flexibility available from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Our support team assists with scheduling and client services, allowing clinicians to focus primarily on their therapeutic practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and determine appropriate treatment pathways.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, aligning with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clinician in this role will work primarily with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and families who are seeking support for trauma-related issues. Our patients often face various challenges stemming from traumatic experiences and require specialized and compassionate guidance to navigate their recovery journey. By providing access to trauma-informed care, we can improve client outcomes and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
