Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to attorneys, including transcribing legal correspondence, deposition summaries, and medical record summaries.Coordinate and confirm deposition schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.Communicate case details to clients as instructed by attorneys (without providing legal advice).Maintain case files, track deadlines, and manage legal documentation.Perform clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, mailing, and filing.Research and retrieve case-related information in client files and legal databases.Assist with file openings and case organization.Ensure a professional office environment and positive representation of the firm.Qualifications:2 to 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in an insurance defense practice.Familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, as well as Federal and Local Rules of the Middle District.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in legal transcription, scheduling, and document management.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated legal professional to advance their career in insurance defense.
