Director of Operations

Position Overview Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a Director of Operations to support the Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics, Golf, Tennis, and Fencing programs. The role reports to the Head Coaches and is a non‑coaching position focused on operational coordination. Responsibilities Assist with video operations. Oversee the program budget. Coordinate class schedules. Hire and manage program managers. Manage apparel and equipment. Coordinate camps and training camps. Schedule non‑conference and tournament games. Act as a liaison to the Big Ten Conference and Penn State Athletics departments, including the Office of Compliance. Compile team related statistics. Plan, coordinate, and execute year‑long travel plans. Arrange team practice schedules. Coordinate team community service activities. Organize all aspects of recruiting visits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 1+ year(s) of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. No required certifications. Background Checks & Clearances PA State Police Criminal Background Check. PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form. Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $51,000.00 – $74,000.00.
