It requires initiative, discipline, follow-through, and the ability to turn fragmented market activity into a visible, measurable pipeline.THE BACKGROUND THAT FITSBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.3-7+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, construction, infrastructure, engineering, public-sector contracting, or a related field.Familiarity with public bidding, RFQs/RFPs, procurement processes, capital improvement programs, and government-funded or owner-funded infrastructure projects preferred.Experience working with or selling to engineering firms, general contractors, municipalities, DOT agencies, airport authorities, port authorities.Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.Proven ability to develop new relationships and convert them into qualified opportunities.Comfortable using CRM systems to manage leads, qualified leads, opportunities, contacts, activities, and sales forecasts.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business communication toolsReference: 68624
