Role Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Proofreader (German language) to review the app's existing content and make the overall text feel more natural and engaging for the user.
- Project and scope assessment
- Reviewing the product's tone of voice and guidelines
- Proofreading content
- Feedback round on proofreading results to identify recurring issues in translations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in proofreading/editing in German
- Preferably experience in digital products / apps / marketing content localization
- German level: native, English: advance
- Strong command of German grammar, style, and punctuation
- Understanding of UX writing / product copy
- Experience with CAT tools (Crowdin or similar)
Requirements
- Experience in dating / social / consumer apps (a plus)
- Experience working with tone of voice / brand voice (a plus)
- Understanding of copy A/B testing (a plus)
- Experience with large-scale projects (10k+ words) (a plus)
