Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, delivering crisis intervention as required, with a focus on assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues.

• Document all therapeutic interactions, assessments, and progress in detailed clinical records, adhering to department policies and electronic health record requirements.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and adjust treatment and discharge plans based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Represent Mindful Therapy & Wellness in community meetings and collaborations, engaging with organizations that address social determinants affecting patient health and wellness.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and families undergoing various challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. Your role is crucial in supporting these individuals through tailored therapy approaches that reflect their unique experiences and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: An active California license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• Experience: A minimum of three years of clinical experience in therapy, particularly in outpatient settings, focusing on crisis counseling for individuals and families.

• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong organizational and analytical skills, are essential to effectively manage cases and documentation.
