Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly in the homes of pediatric patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and caregivers, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care. With minimal paperwork, you will spend most of your time engaging with patients and their families, providing a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Administer thorough evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address mobility, pain relief, and functional restoration.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Conduct family training sessions, informing caregivers about home programs and discharge planning to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to monitor and report on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Provide referrals to additional services or specialists when necessary.
• Foster effective communication with both patients and their families regarding treatment plans, outcomes, and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses specifically on pediatric patients, encompassing a wide range of conditions from developmental delays to musculoskeletal issues. You will engage with children of various ages, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and challenges, while also providing education and support to their families. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license.

• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices and principles.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a solid grasp of anatomy and physiology.

Compensation and Benefits
