Marketing Assistant

About the Role

We’re looking for an organized and creative Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, content, and customer communications.

Working alongside the marketing team, you’ll assist with campaign coordination, marketing materials, social media content, market research, and local marketing initiatives. You’ll help keep projects organized while ensuring marketing activities and brand communications are delivered consistently across different channels.

What You’ll Do

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
• Assist with day-to-day campaign coordination and project organization
• Prepare and organize marketing materials, presentations, and campaign resources
• Assist with social media content, scheduling, and campaign updates
• Support the creation of customer-facing marketing communications
• Coordinate promotional materials and branded content
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor research
• Gather information on industry trends and local market activity
• Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, and project documentation
• Track basic campaign activity and marketing performance
• Assist with email marketing and customer communication initiatives
• Review marketing materials for accuracy and consistent brand messaging
• Coordinate with internal teams on current marketing projects
• Support product and service launches
• Help organize local marketing initiatives and select community activities
• Gather customer feedback and organize insights for the marketing team
• Maintain organized digital files, marketing assets, and campaign records
• Contribute ideas for content, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Interest in marketing, advertising, communications, branding, or digital marketing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative and collaborative approach to work
• Strong research and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with social media and digital content
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new marketing tools
• Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience in marketing, communications, social media, customer service, events, retail, hospitality, or another related environment is helpful but not required.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field is preferred but not required.
