Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Telemetry

Southern New Mexico | Acute Care Hospital | Full-Time

Signing Bonus: $15,000

The Opportunity

A well-established acute care hospital in Southern New Mexico is adding a Registered Nurse to its Medical Surgical Telemetry unit — a 34-bed team known for its cohesive culture, strong support structure, and a clear pathway for nurses who want to grow into intermediate or critical care.

This is a unit where new grads and experienced nurses alike have built careers. The team is tight, the leadership is present, and the unit is set up so that nurses can focus on what they came to do: deliver excellent patient-centered care.

The Role

As an RN on the Med Surg Telemetry unit, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments, and serve as a consistent advocate for patient comfort and safety. You will work within a collaborative care model supported by CNAs and Unit Secretaries, allowing you to stay focused on clinical outcomes.

This unit functions as a defined stepping stone within the organization. Nurses who develop their telemetry skills here have a well-worn path to Intermediate Care (IMC) and the ICU — and that trajectory is actively supported by leadership.

What You Bring

- Valid RN License in New Mexico or a Compact state license
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- BLS certification (required upon hire)
- ACLS and PALS preferred but not required
