Registered Nurse (RN)This position offers an opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long-term care environment. The role involves working with a team to support the holistic needs of residents, with a focus on quality patient care.Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care to residents, including assessments and medication administration.Document and implement nursing care plans in line with established protocols.Oversee and support the work of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.Facilitate effective communication with team members and assist in coordinating patient care.Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Desired Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.Proficient in delegation and team collaboration.Experience in wound care management.This position requires a commitment to providing compassionate care while ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
