Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Albany, NY (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve as the primary customer contact in the Albany, NY territory, delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and implementing sales strategy. The role focuses on driving appropriate product utilization, managing customer relationships, and navigating the payer environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships by customizing interactions, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues
• Analyze sales activity effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sales preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Adaptability with sales planning, business knowledge, impact communication, results driving, and relationship cultivation
• Local market knowledge preferred

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base for Specialty Representative; $115,036–$155,638 base for Senior Specialty Representative
