In this role you will work directly for the HR Director to gain a unique and invaluable perspective across all HR functions. This position is in office at our St. Charles location and the hours are typically 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Part-time or full-time is available. The start date for this is August 13th with the opportunity to continue the internship past the Fall semester.Requirements:Currently attending college/university to obtain human resources degree or related field.Excellent computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in Microsoft Office.Effective oral and written communication skills.General knowledge of various employment laws.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.Must be able to gather and analyze information with high attention to detail.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work flexible hours.Responsibilities: Assists with Associate orientation, development, training logistics, and recordkeeping.Assists with the paperwork involved in new hire orientation and termination.Helps maintain associate files in the Human Resources Department.Assists with the implementing and tracking company health and safety programs.Assists with benefit orientation.Helps with recruiting efforts.Assist with employee engagement activities such as touch base program and employee recognition.Associate Benefits at National Cart Company: Supporting Our Work FamilyAt National Cart Company, a proud family-owned business, we treat our employees like family, offering benefits designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
