Administrative Assistant

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - MANUFACTURING

HOURS: 1ST SHIFT, FULL TIME

TEMP TO PERM: $19-20/HOUR

LOCATION: FREEPORT, IL

Position Summary: This position provides administrative and customer service support for the General Manager and plant operations. It combines customer service, phone communication, administrative support, and data entry in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, it would include performing duties such as record keeping, coordination of meetings, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, and working on special projects. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload. Essential Functions Answer inbound calls and provide professional, helpful customer service Assist customers with questions, requests, and general communications Provide administrative support to the General Manager and facility team Maintain accurate customer and facility records, including visits, birthdays, anniversaries, and safety meeting notes Update daily attendance boards and performance information Maintain training, cross-training, and safety training records Process new-hire paperwork and ensure I-9 documentation is completed and verified Provide backup support for billing and other facility functionsAssist with special projects and other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Previous customer service and administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and friendly phone manner Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and similar software Sedona Staffing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Sedona Staffing Services
