Work Environment\n

As a remote position within the framework of a community health clinic, this role offers flexibility while ensuring that you have the full support of our multidisciplinary team. You will have continuous access to resources, including digital tools that facilitate communication and coordination with patients and colleagues. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a work-life balance conducive to optimal performance and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations of patients’ psychological needs, establishing personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing their unique challenges.

• Engage empathetically with clients, actively listening to their concerns and diagnosing any relevant mental or emotional disorders.

• Develop and implement comprehensive coping strategies and therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual’s treatment goals.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma-informed care, enhancing their understanding of stress management techniques and resources available for support.

• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate care with external social and medical agencies, as well as healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to the patient’s recovery journey.

• Participate in ongoing professional development by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Contribute to a collaborative culture by sharing insights and strategies with team members to improve patient care and address any observed gaps in support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients who experience various emotional and psychological challenges. Many of these individuals have undergone significant distress through accidents, abuse, or other traumatic experiences. Your expertise will help guide them toward meaningful recovery, addressing their conditions through evidence-based practices that contribute to their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
