Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, abilities, and behaviors using diverse methods, including interviews and direct observational techniques.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans by integrating social, medical, and psychotherapeutic data, and provide suitable interventions such as therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and skills training.

• Establish both short-term and long-term therapeutic goals tailored to individual patient needs.
\n
• Facilitate an environment where patients feel encouraged to discuss and explore their feelings and behaviors as part of their therapeutic journey.
\n
• Design and implement effective treatment programs to address acute and chronic mental health issues, fostering collaboration across the treatment team to ensure cohesive care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all clinical services rendered, including patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Provide consultation and support to fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Stay informed about and comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to mental health practice.

• Promote a compassionate and psychologically-informed approach to treatment in all aspects of the role.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a complex and varied patient population, addressing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and pain management. Your interventions will also support clients facing critical life transitions, relationship issues, and personal crises, providing them with the tools to navigate their challenges more effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current California License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in providing therapy and counseling services.

• Strong proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred to better serve our diverse patient base.
