Associate Director, HIV Treatment DTP Marketing

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director for HIV treatment direct-to-patient marketing to develop and execute patient engagement strategies in the United States. The role involves leading multichannel campaigns, managing cross-functional partnerships, and driving business impact through data-driven approaches to reach priority populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient marketing strategies and tactics for US HIV direct-to-patient efforts targeting priority populations
• Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics; establish data collection and reporting frameworks
• Gather and analyze digital media campaign data to optimize performance and quality
• Lead multicultural marketing workstreams and support patient marketing initiatives including media management, research, and conference planning
• Partner with internal teams and external agencies to identify synergies, solve business problems, and pilot innovative engagement approaches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with ten years' experience, or Master's degree with eight years' experience
• Expertise in patient and consumer marketing fundamentals, audience segmentation, and omnichannel engagement
• Proficiency with traditional and digital media channels including TV, print, SEO/SEM, and social media
• Demonstrated experience managing creative and media agencies and cross-functional partner relationships
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and marketing material compliance
• Project management skills with ability to lead complex initiatives and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics including sexual health, mental health, and substance use
