Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Cross Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families, understanding their emotional and psychological needs.

• Providing therapy to couples and families, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts, and relationship dynamics.

• Offering individual therapy to family members as required to ensure holistic treatment.

• Implementing effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of patients, considering factors such as family dynamics, job stress, medical issues, and grief.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods and tools to support client progress.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients as well as children and adolescents. You will provide care for a variety of concerns, including but not limited to:

• Effects of grief and loss on individuals and families.

• Challenges faced by blended families and issues related to separation and divorce.
\n
• Conflict resolution among family members and support for those experiencing cut-offs.

Qualifications\n

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
