ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support a school district in North Kansas City, MO . This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students in the classroom and helping them achieve academic and behavioral success.

Position Details:

• Location: North Kansas City, MO
• Student Population: K–12
• Schedule: Full-time (approximately 32–40 hours per week)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
• Contract:
  • Immediate start for the current school year
  • Renewal opportunities for the upcoming school year

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
• Assist students with academic tasks, routines, and transitions
• Support behavioral and social-emotional needs in the classroom
• Help maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children preferred
• School-based or special education experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable in a classroom environment
• Ability to follow direction and support individualized student needs
