Financial Institutions Solution Sales, Director

As a Financial Institutions Solution Sales Director, you will lead the full sales cycle for Major Bank clients, delivering integrated Treasury and Trade Solutions and Investor Services offerings that span cash management, trade finance, global custody, and fund services. You will act as a trusted advisor, structuring tailored multi-product proposals that expand client relationships and convert new business into revenue growth. Working alongside Relationship Management, Product, Implementation, and Risk partners, you will shape sales strategy with full autonomy over your client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for Major Banks clients, identifying opportunities and negotiating mandates that drive revenue growth.
• Acquire new client relationships while expanding product penetration across cash management, trade finance, custody, and fund services within existing accounts
• Structure bespoke technical and commercial solutions for complex Request for Proposal processes that integrate cash, trade, custody, and fund service capabilities.
• Build and manage a high quality sales pipeline, forecasting deal velocity, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
• Deliver consultative sales coverage across both Cash Management and Investor Services product lines.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements across local and cross border markets.
• Champion ethical standards and transparency in every client interaction, upholding Citi's Code of Conduct.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10 to 15+ years of experience in transaction banking, securities services, or institutional financial services sales.
• A demonstrated record of originating, negotiating, and closing strategic deals with complex Asset Management and Insurance clients.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex technical and commercial concepts to C-suite decision makers.
• Proven capability to translate client operational workflows and balance sheet requirements into cohesive technical and commercial solutions.
• Skill in navigating complex client organizations and building lasting relationships with key decision makers.
• A self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach to generating and managing a sales pipeline.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
