Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations of new patients, listening to their concerns, and making comprehensive assessments of their mental and emotional health.

• Developing customized treatment plans and effective coping strategies that address the specific needs of each patient, particularly those recovering from trauma.

• Providing ongoing support by monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Educating patients and their families about effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma.

• Coordinating with external social and medical agencies to connect patients with additional resources and services that enhance their recovery journey.

• Staying current on best practices through continuing education, maintaining National Certified Counselor certification, and attending training sessions as needed.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credentials in Washington state.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing counseling, particularly with trauma patients.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and Salesforce systems are a plus.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
