Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is working with trauma injury patients, many of whom may experience emotional and psychological challenges related to their experiences. As such, the counselor must employ a compassionate and empathetic approach, tailored to each client's background and circumstances. By leveraging trauma-informed practices, you will empower clients to navigate their recovery and develop resilience-focused strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
