Accounting Clerk Essential Skills

Accounting Clerk Roles & Responsibilities

ake recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures

• Document and monitor internal controls in support of auditing team

• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments

• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting

• Prepare financial reports

•Prepare multi-state sales tax returns, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned

• Support monthly and year end financial close

Day-to-Day Duties

• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable

• Analyze complex financial reports and records

• Review journal entries to ensure accuracy

• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations

This could be a part- time or full-time position; benefit available if full time. Located in Sacramento, CA 95827
