Key Responsibilities\n

As the Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews and maintaining accurate documentation from the initial intake throughout the duration of treatment.

• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, ensuring a holistic approach to their care.
\n
• Designing and implementing effective intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
\n
• Regularly monitoring and assessing progress in alignment with treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to plans as required.

• Collaborating with a diverse team of mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.

• Coordinating follow-up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for any clients who may be hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identifying and addressing barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to prevent behaviors that could hinder treatment outcomes.

• Providing support and guidance to families and primary caregivers facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a varied client demographic, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW valid in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficient understanding of various electronic health record systems, preferably including experience with AVATAR or comparable platforms.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members alike.
\n
• A compassionate approach and outstanding interpersonal skills that foster trust and build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
\n
• Understanding of physical health issues that may accompany mental health challenges, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth knowledge regarding pharmacological interventions prescribed by psychiatrists and other medical specialists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
