Position Purpose Build a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensure a healthy client pipeline, and provide an exceptional fitness experience for all members. Responsibilities Achieve monthly sales targets, grow membership, and exceed goals for new PT agreements, client retention, and overall revenue. Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding and drive sales initiatives. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers. Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers to ensure timely and accurate payment. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff. Ensure all fitness staff have appropriate certifications and training such as CPR, First Aid, and personal trainer certifications. Provide constructive feedback to staff on performance, highlighting strengths and improvement areas. Address member concerns or complaints, manage membership inquiries, and resolve issues promptly. Engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to needs and concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining proper certifications and safety protocols. Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies or unexpected disruptions, providing necessary instructions and updates for safety and well‑being. Qualifications 2+ years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus. 3–4 years of customer service experience. Personal Training sales experience highly preferred. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels. Detail orientation; systematic problem solving; strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent MS Office skills. A person who embraces our Core Values. Requirements Successfully pass a background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Valid PT certification. Previous sales experience required. Capacity to work in a gym setting, move around club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to operate the company computer system for data entry, document preparation, and report review. Ability to bend routinely and repeatedly to lift more than 40 lbs. Eligible For Additional Compensation Inclusive Of Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus. Post training increase.
