Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine treatment needs and develop individualized treatment plans that may include both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that foster personal growth, promote positive change, and empower clients to overcome dependencies and achieve their treatment goals.

• Maintain meticulous records that document client progress and therapeutic interventions, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with the clinical director to conduct chart audits, sign off on individual and group therapy notes, and ensure optimal therapy outcomes.

• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care provided and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed based on client feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals in early recovery from substance use disorders, as well as those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Understanding the complexities of dual-diagnosis cases is essential, as you will support clients facing unique challenges in their recovery journey. Your approach will emphasize a trauma-informed care model, ensuring clients feel safe, respected, and understood during their treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in social work, preferably within substance use or mental health centers.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical records and using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills that foster therapeutic relationships and facilitate teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Forge Recovery Center offers an attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
