Shift Details:

• 8 hours shift, 40 hours work week

Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.

• Assist the dentist by sterilizing instruments, suctioning, and passing instruments.

• Prepare and handle dental materials and supplies.

• Perform dental X-rays and assist with study casts.

• Fabricate temporary restorations and clean removable appliances.

• Assist with dental and medical emergencies; maintain CPR and emergency supplies.

• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.

• Document dental care and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation protocols.

• Maintain professional knowledge and complete required training.

**Minimum Qualifications **

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or six(6) months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.

• Minimum of one (1) year of Dental Assisting experience.

• Nitrous oxide certification and Coronal polishing certification.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted WI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• CPR Card

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
