Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients. Our clinic's collaborative remote setting offers flexibility while maintaining a strong support network. You will operate during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients’ daily lives.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, integrating their goals and preferences into the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and the importance of self-care to empower them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure the efficacy of care provided.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated treatment that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in the treatment of mood disorders, applying new insights to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Advocate for clients by promoting understanding and de-stigmatization of mental health issues, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. By fostering a trusting environment, you will facilitate open communication and encourage clients to engage actively in their treatment plan.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with proven expertise in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and how it interacts with therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting focused on mood disorders, working with a diverse client base.

• This experience should include familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote conversational techniques appropriate for therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
