Operations Analyst, Separately Managed Accounts

Job Overview The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Separately Managed Accounts team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration servicing for our clients. As an operations analyst, you’ll act as the liaison between investment managers and banks. Responsibilities Provide investment support to investment managers by overseeing the day‑to‑day changes on accounts. Open and close accounts, process account maintenance items, perform daily and monthly trade and transaction reconciliations, and set up new securities. Perform quality control checks of new accounts and maintenance items in accordance with departmental guidelines. Communicate with investment managers, banks, and internal teams to review and correct any discrepancies in account information, transactions, holdings, or investment types. Resolve open issues and questions, reaching out to internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve any production or system support queries. Attend and participate in various IMS and corporate professional development sessions to acquire tools for identifying processes across the division and organization. Partner with a team of varied strengths and grow your career. Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills, primarily supporting clients via email and/or phone. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate daily with clients and service providers. Self‑motivation, organization, and drive to complete multiple client deliverables in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality.
