Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques, including CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR, to facilitate client healing and growth.
\n
• Providing bilingual (Spanish and English) psychotherapy services to maximize client engagement and effectiveness.
\n
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information accurately in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and supervision to discuss cases, treatment strategies, and therapeutic progress.
\n
• Building rapport with clients and their families by fostering trust and a safe therapeutic environment.
\n
• Collaborating with community resources and service providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards to protect client information.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving children, teens, adults, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Understanding the diverse backgrounds of our clients is critical, as you will be required to respect and sensitively respond to each family's cultural needs and customs.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Strong written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with diverse populations.
\n
• Proficiency in managing stress and practicing self-care to maintain personal well-being.
\n
• Capacity for empathy, self-examination, and self-disclosure in therapeutic relationships.
\n
• Willingness to integrate into insurance panels as an in-network provider.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered advantageous:

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Previous training and experience using EHR software and other relevant technology.
\n
• Experience facilitating both in-person and telehealth sessions in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
