Vice President, Revenue Cycle

The client is seeking a Vice President, Revenue Cycle to lead strategy, operations, and optimization of revenue capture and collection across the enterprise. The role supports accurate, appropriate, and timely recognition of revenue by guiding decisions on the resources, systems, tools, processes, procedures, policies, and investments needed to fully realize revenue associated with services delivered. The Vice President, Revenue Cycle will manage key revenue cycle functions, including patient access, health information management, coding and coding education, clinical documentation integrity for inpatient/outpatient/ambulatory settings, tumor registry, birth registry, and charge masters. Additional responsibilities include revenue integrity and oversight of billing, follow-up and collections, denials, cash processing, contract implementation, regulatory compliance, and processes related to charity care and bad debt across all entities within the client. This role also provides secondary oversight of inpatient clinical denials, utilization management, and vendor performance related to professional revenue cycle activities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the position requires significant experience managing revenue cycle operations in a healthcare environment and a strong understanding of Epic electronic medical record systems and how they integrate with revenue cycle workflows.
