Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related challenges.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's experience and background.

• Offer couples and family therapy sessions focusing on relationship dynamics and communication strategies to enhance understanding and resolve conflicts.

• Develop personalized treatment plans with clearly defined goals and interventions, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Deliver immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to clients encountering acute mental health challenges or crises.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, fostering a proactive approach to mental wellness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Uphold ethical practices and adhere to legal regulations governing counseling practice, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as an LPC at New Horizons, you will serve a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with various mental health issues. Our clients often present with conditions ranging from generalized anxiety disorders and depressive episodes to complex trauma and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.

• Demonstrated clinical experience in providing effective counseling services, preferably within an outpatient setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
