Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to gain a thorough understanding of clients’ mental health issues, enabling you to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or other frameworks, to support clients' personal development and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to maximize positive outcomes.

• Offer teletherapy options, allowing clients to receive essential support through virtual consultations, which is particularly beneficial for those facing geographical or physical barriers.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and client interactions, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards to ensure professionalism in practice.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, expanding your clinical skills and staying informed about the latest therapeutic practices and research in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth dealing with various issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational challenges. The inclusive nature of our practice allows you to gain extensive experience across different age groups and mental health concerns, enhancing your skills and adaptability as a therapist.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist (LCMFT), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), licensed clinical psychologist (LCP), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), or licensed specialist clinical social worker (LSCSW) within Kansas.

• Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
