Description - Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-consistent with established procedures.
• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Document all steps meticulously, train newcomers, and assist in upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe working environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health credential plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
